FPI Group AB has completed the acquisition of CATC AB and Fläkt Marine AB

FPI Group AB has completed the acquisition of CATC AB and Fläkt Marine AB, two Gothenburg-based companies providing HVAC solutions and services to the marine industry. The companies’ CEOs and key employees are reinvesting as part of the transaction and will remain in their current roles.

CATC’s and Fläkt Marine’s offering covers the entire HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) value chain – from design and software development to installation, commissioning, and support. The companies’ products and services are used worldwide within the marine industry. Combined, the companies generate approximately SEK 180 million in revenue with strong profitability and are characterized by high technical expertise and close customer relationships. Their dominant customer segment is the cruise industry.

The acquisition represents the second step in FPI’s long-term ambition to build a leading Nordic cluster within the Marine Services business area. Through the newly established holding company Fläkt Marine Solutions AB, CATC and Fläkt Marine will become sister companies to NM Intressenter AB. As the new majority owner, FPI will support the companies in strategic initiatives and create the conditions for continued growth, including expansion and further development of the companies’ offering.
